I make strong connections with my clients and strive to really understand them in context of their background, needs, and desires. I'm currently seeking weekly clients in the area of pre or postnatal health, parenting, relationship challenges and anxiety. Don't hesitate to ask if you think we might be a good fit but your current situation is a little different. Pregnancy loss, traumatic birth, unexpected challenges in parenting or getting pregnant; I can help guide you through this and more.
I'm passionate about taking a holistic approach to client care. I lean toward more natural methods of care first before referring for a medication evaluation. I really strive to make appropriate referrals and bring in other family members or loved ones when you want. I’m a member of Postpartum Support International and have continued my post-grad training with over 70 additional hours toward licensure as a Perinatal Mental Health Counselor.
Sometimes just making that first step to reach out and meet a new person can be the hardest. Getting started in therapy is a journey, and I am happy to guide you through the process. I have a special knack for finding your inner strengths and drawing on those to help you succeed. A little about me- I'm a mom of 5 kids 11 & under and married to a chef- yum! I co-own a wedding venue and direct all the agriculture at the farm. I also was our town’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council Co-Chair for 8 years.
“Aspen is all of the things you’d want in a counselor — compassionate, authentic, non-judgmental, and most importantly, highly effective at helping people resolve challenging issues.”
